'I, Me, Mine' castanets
« on: January 09, 2009, 05:51:27 PM »

Hi everybody!! ;)

As English is not my native tongue..., could anybody transcribe for me what is GH saying about castanets at the beginning of
this video??
It seems that somebody shouts in the background '...castanets!!...' as well (=maybe JL??)

Thank you in advance!! ;)

He says "Yeah, Castanets on that bit"

Thanks for the link...I always like to hear a Beatle song in it's development.

Thank you very much!! ;)

And..., can you hear someone shouting '...castanets...' in the background just before GH saying??

Only another question: how could I translate 'bit'?? Perhaps '...Yeah, castanets on that part...'???

Thank you in advance!! ;)

Prego (Your welcome) as they say in Italian. :)

'Part' would be a good interpretation yes.

Sounds like George saying 'hang on'.....Lennon in the background shouting 'castanets!' before George speaks ;)

There's a lot of use of percussion on the first take of I'm Looking Through You as well.

Hi!! ;)

I have got the 'Complete Castanets take' from 'I, Me, Mine', and I would like to upload here, as there is more spoken dialogue about the castanets, but I can't understand it. I thought that, if I learn how to upload here a mp3 file, maybe anyone of you could transcribe the 'Castanets dialogue' for me...

So..., could you help me??

Thank you in advance and best wishes!! ;)
