Title: Sgt. Pepper's album stripped down.
Post by: philosopher on April 25, 2017, 11:45:47 AM
If this is not the right place to post it, 1000 excuses and please remove it.  :-)

But I just played the album with just one instrument and it's revelatory of the incredible melodies that stand for themselves, without the production. It can be interesting.

In case you enjoy it, here's an album of my original music, "The Sleeping Philosophers":

Well done! To be honest I did not listen to it all, but I skipped here and there. I did listen to Within You Without You complete tho. The ukelele is a better option than the annoying sitar in the original version.  ;)

Besides the great lyrics, the sitar is my favorite element in the original version! :)

Thank you!!

I just made a videoclip of one of my songs, "Funny Gee", very Beatle-y stuff, same video style as Pepper's.

I'm surprised you could do it without sitar. It was written for Indian instrumentation.

So kudos for doing it with ukulele. I'm sure George would approve.
