John and Yoko bio to be directed by Jean-Marc Vallee

Distribution by Universal Studios with a script by The Theory of Everything writer Anthony McCarten.  "We'll have to make a deal for the music but with Yoko producing with us, we'll have access to the estate and library of songs," according to Michael De Luca one of the film's producers.  I'm certainly not a Yoko basher but I do feel there is much potential for the story as seen through rose-colored glasses here.

I hope so.  The Theory of Everything certainly was.   It certainly didn't paint Stephen Hawking as a saint.

As one of the producers, she will definitely have plenty of control. How much remains to been seen.
