Do Wah Diddy- Manfred Mann. Once you hear it it'll make you freakin nuts all day.
The Break up song( They dont write 'em like that anymore)- The Greg Kihn band.
867-530niiieeeiiine (Jenny, Jenny)-Tommy Tutone.
How about those for catchy? How many of you have had either one of the three stuck in your head all day after hearing it in the morning?
although I got to admit, I like all three songs. ;D
I actually worked with Greg Kihn at the radio station when I was there, he's a morning dj on a classic rock station ( he's very qood), still plays with the band as well as writing novels.  A bit tweaky but a good guy nonetheless.

Tommy Tutone was a relatively local act as well...of the three you mentioned Jenny jenny is definitely a favorite.

Yeah, everyone DOES know it, even the people in my school last year. We did music projects and sadly another group chose to do The Beatles before I could, (even though they don't like em) but anyways we all played a song by the band we researched, and thet played Yellow Submarine. The scary part was people were mumbling along with the chorus and the whole class sounded like dead zombies. I was the only one who knew the lyrics though :S

Another One Bites the Dust by Queen is pretty catchy...

How 'bout Louie Louie. ....

that is a great song by the Kingsmen... as you dont know what there singing about Macc here is the lyrics :)

Louie Louie, oh no
Me gotta go
Aye-yi-yi-yi, I said
Louie Louie, oh baby
Me gotta go

Fine little girl waits for me
Catch a ship across the sea
Sail that ship about, all alone
Never know if I make it home

Chorus........

Three nights and days I sail the sea
Think of girl, constantly
On that ship, I dream she's there
I smell the rose in her hair.

Chorus...........

Okay, let's give it to 'em, right now!

See Jamaica, the moon above
It won't be long, me see me love
Take her in my arms again
Tell her I'll never leave again

Chorus...........

Let's take it on outa here now
Let's go!!

Baby Love- The Supremes
This song is catchy as hell. I can't help singing along with it.

Also, I know a lot of people here don't like Avril Lavigne, but Sk8er Boi is VERY catchy. I mean, the lyrics aren't very good, but still very catchy.

Yeah, I knew they banned it on some radio stations when it came out. Which is kinda funny considering what gets played nowadays. Mainly rap music.

apps, im pretty surprised that you got the lyrics. i remember first hearing it  watching animal house and not being able to comprehend the lyrics. from what i know, many people have made up their own ideas of what the lyrics are.

the songs that i find catchy are i saw her standing there, all my loving, till there was you(all ed sullivan ones, lol) and california dreamin' by the beach boys.

I don't remember many songs from the Muppet Show other than the theme song. "It''s time to put on make up. It's time to dress up right. It's time to get things started on the most sensational, inspirational, celebrational, muppetational. This is what we call the Muppet Show!"
