that's funny isn't it I can watch hundreds of shows showing how to fix classic cars mechanically and yet after all that I don't think I could repair a clutch or do anything other than very minor things like oil change lol

You're not odd at all! From these tutorials you can see just how their individual guitar parts were played to arrive at the sound we hear on the recordings.
