Liverpool Lathom Social Club shows off Beatles statues ahead of Mathew Street Festival

MERSEYSIDE social club is one of many places in the area gearing up for the Mathew Street Festival extravaganza this weekend.
Lathom Social Club, in Seaforth, is displaying life-size statues of the famous Beatles, with an interesting twist.
The local club, in existence since 1884 and one of the original places The Beatles performed in their early days, is displaying the life-like statues alongside vintage 1960s Minis, a car closely associated with the revolutionary music of that era and which the Fab Four, John, Paul, George and Ringo, all drove.
