Title: Help! movie book; first edition
Post by: McCartney on January 15, 2006, 04:58:54 AM
My stepdad's parents gave this to me. It's in paperback, but it's in first edition straight from 1965.

Here are a few pics.

I'm not sure if you could read the quote bubbles, but they have these jokes edited onto the actual pics from the movie.

Nice! Although they were fully aware of the Beatlemania in the sixties, my parents and parents in law have absolutely nothing on the Beatles.

The father of an ex-girlfriend of mine has a copy of the White album, bought on the day of issue that has two posters. One of which he has never taken out of the sleeve!!

Yes. He sneaked a look, and luckily realised the value so he left it alone. He has it sealed and locked away.. I don't know about you, but I think records are for playing, so I told him he may as well just sell it.
