Joe Brown remembers

heard an interview with Joe Brown the other day. He was best friends with George (who was best man at his wedding) and described him as an "old fashioned northern gent." (that's a compliment by the way.)
He'd met George in the early sixties. He told a nice story about how, when he (Joe) moved to Henley George rang him out of the blue and introduced himself by saying "you probably don't remember me but..."  Nice.
