The Flaming Lips, Plastic Ono Band Release 'Brain Of Heaven' (VIDEO)
The video for "Brain of Heaven," the collaboration between Yoko Ono's Plastic Ono Band and The Flaming Lips, is simplified surrealism. The video features what looks like Wayne Coyne and possibly Yoko Ono in a half technicolor laser show and half black-and-white impression needle toy (see here).The video is nothing too spectacular, just Coyne and Ono acting like they are trying to ward off the digital, alternate reality they are performing in. The collaboration is beautiful, though. The track is a parred down version of the space age creations typical of The Flaming Lips, with a basic drum-kit beat, string instruments and Yoko Ono's crooning vocals.
