Adios John Paul George y Ringo
« on: December 17, 2015, 04:32:45 AM »

I heard that there's a 1974 Spanish song sung by a band called Los Barbaros. It's called "Adios John, Paul, George y Ringo". The words "Adios" and "y" mean "Goodbye" and "and". In fact, Miguel A. Muscarsel wrote this song. I'll show you the video.

You see, everybody, the song references the actual Beatles songs as listed.

Eleanor Rigby
Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Yellow Submarine
Hello Goodbye

It also has the instruments as listed.

Basic Track:
Acoustic Guitar
Bass Guitar
Additional Overdubs:
Electric Cello
Hammond Organ
Electric Guitar
Mellotron Flutes
Moog Synthesizer

Here it is in English, with lyrics. It sounds prettier in Spanish but I couldn't understand it.  :)

Nice song, I like it.

I'll share something from my country (Argentina). The Beats are a Beatles tribute band which as usual played Beatles songs. But in 2000 they wrote and recorded this song called "You Can" in the early Lennon & McCartney style:
