No, not the song by 10cc.

What would you do for love?  Post narratives or videos.

In the beginning stages of my relationship with Miss Bobber, things were full of doubt between us. I was convinced of our love however, and wanted to convince her too. During the summer months, she went on vacation to the UK for three weeks with friends. When we parted, I gave her a box full of poems, one for every day that we would not see each other. Her friends asked her why she had doubts about having a relationship with such a romantic soul. lol. Let's say it took her a few more years to be fully convinced. ha2ha

Awwww! What a romantic, Bobber!
I would write poems about my boyfriends, bake them cakes and biscuits on their birthdays ... do they ever appreciated it? No. :( So much for love

Haha! Thank HG! :) . But I will, gotta live to the words of the Gran'father: At least I've got a back load of memories :)
So when I will be a gran'mother I can tell it to my Ringos when they will be reading books ;)

Of course you will...just like the lyrics say:  "So for at least until tomorrow I'll never fall in love again."

Go out parading!      ;D

You are indeed quite the romantic, Bobber.  A poem for each day apart.  Who does that anymore?!

Did you ever write poetry prior to meeting Miss Bobber?

Yes I did. However, after this masterpiece the source ran dry. ha2ha

On my first date with my first girlfriend, I took her to see A Man And A Woman.  She liked the love scenes.  I liked the auto racing scenes.  We went out for a few months after that.  I never really got over her.

Three years later, just like in the Claude Lelouch film I posted, I drove about 15 miles to pick her up at her boyfriend's house.  She called me hysterically crying.  I didn't go through any red lights, though.  That scene ended just like in the film, with a long embrace.

A week later, she was back with him.

A Man And A Woman was also a film by Claude Lelouch.

And Cor, I wrote a bunch of poems to that first girlfriend. I never wrote any poems before that and haven't written any since.
