Happy birthday John Lennon: celebrations and tributes will span the globe
October 9, 2012 will mark what would have been John Lennon’s 72nd birthday.Since his murder in 1980, celebrations still abound every year around the world to pay tribute to his life and his works, and what he meant to millions of fans.This year, if you want to join the party, there are events happening around the world, from London to Los Angeles, including a special, rare gig by the original Quarrymen.
