Definitely. Get him and Dhani Harrison together and people might start having flashbacks.
Not sure of Sean's music though. The only bits I've seen haven't impressed me too much.

I think so, too. Sean resembles John so strongly, but I remember being shocked at how much Julian sounds like John, at least in the hits he had in the 80s.

Julian had the laid back mid to late-70s John sound for sure. Don't think I ever heard him cut loose to show if he could rock like papa though.

I think on ballady type stuff Julian could sound a bit like his Dad, Saltwater, Too Late For Goodbye's etc but I don't think he could sing Rock n Roll Music or Money I don't think he has the power in his voice, kinda like George Harrison

That's true. Still it's a bit unfair I guess comparing anyone to Lennon. IMO one of the great rock voices.

Good point, nimrod and Moogmodule. I haven't really hear much of Julian's stuff other than the handful of ballad-style songs he had back in the 80s.

Sean does not like being compared to his dad or even discussing him. I was watching an interview with him and he ended it when it started going in that direction. I can't remember the time period when this happened so maybe that was just kind of a phase. But he got pretty p*ssed off.

Dye James McCartney's hair black and put him in between them, people might start fainting! ;)

I bet they do it as a one off someday.
Isn't Ringo's younger son also a drummer. So you have two potential New Johns and two potential New Ringos

Although I'm not a complete fan of Sean's voice I think his songwriting is exceptional. I love the Friendly Fire LP. There are some amazing songs on there. Check it out http://youtu.be/W1_MqMNfSb8 (http://youtu.be/W1_MqMNfSb8)
