RIP Johnny 'Gus' Gustafson...figurehead of "the Big Three", bass player with the Merseybeats, and several subsequent famous names....plenty of good rock musos to jam with, where you and your upside down Gibson are going, big man....

Thanks for that reply, Bobber. Personally, I don't understand the bad vibe and vitriol from pc31. I think that little devil in his avatar must be lodged up his arse.

anyway, yes I met Gus on a couple of occasions when I was doing the rounds as a Bass player in the 70's, we supported one of his bands at the time, he was a really nice friendly guy and a superb bass player, better than I could ever be, we also have a close mutual ex Searcher friend
