Tussauds finds Sgt Pepper heads after almost 40 years

THE original waxwork heads of the Beatles used on the Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover have been discovered at Madame Tussauds.


The props were presumed missing for nearly 40 years but were found hidden away in a store room.


Now they are being put up for sale and are expected to fetch up to

Paul looks like Peter Brady, John looks like a local drunk I know, and George looks like a guy my wife and her friends call the mole man that works at some Family Dollar in our town.

I just saw Ringo being interviewed on the UK's Richard and Judy TV show, and they also had the four heads. Ringo said that the Beatles had to pose for days for the heads to be made, and he said, words to the effect, is that really George? And he said that he had improved in appearance since then! Did anyone else see that?

The "George" head looks like a weird mix of Keith Richards, Jeff Beck and one of the Chipmunks.  

The "Paul" head looks like it's got some Howdy Doody in the cheeks.  

"Ringo" looks homo floriensis, so-called hobbit-man.  Even his head is shorter than the others!

Those don't look like them at all. They look more realistic on the cover of Pepper for some reason.
