Title: Madonna made a mistake
Post by: Joost on January 11, 2006, 03:58:22 PM
Know that new Madonna song where she says "I'm sorry" in a lot of different languages?

Well, unfortionately for her, the Dutch word "droevig" doesn't mean "sorry" but "sad".

 ;D

Hmmm... so what does this mean for Madonna? :)

It means she's no good in the Dutch language.

Yes, I suppose that's true. Also true is the annoying, pretending she's English part. BTW, what the hell does her accent sound like to the Brits?

It became really hilarious when Madonna started rapping and did it with lines like: "I'm drinking a Soy latte". Really streetwise, yo...

It sounds American to us too. Only VERY affected.

The thing about Madonna is that she always threw herself into whatever she was doing. If she decides, "I'm going to be the biggest sex symbol ever" or "I'm going to be the best Hollywood parent ever" she really works at it. Now she's decided "I'm going to be the best Kabbalahist ever" which I just find hilarious because she is about as Italian Catholic as you can get. I mean, even the name, Madonna... LMAO.

Madonna is a hypocrite. In the 80s and 90s she had the reputation of being one of the biggest sluts on earth, and now she won't even allow her children to watch TV. Not exactly a case of practice what you preach, if you ask me...

She's made a career, lots of money and fame, from being a talentless whorebag for a long time now. Marketing/packaging is the key to everything I guess, no matter what the product really is.

Madonna took full profit of her minimal talents. In that way she might be an example for all of us. I like some of her songs by the way and I like to listen to it ten times better than all this negative 'motherf***ing' rap.

That's true... Being one of the biggest stars of a decade and still being relevant in at least the next two decades even though you're not really that good in anything is an amazing accomplishment.
