I assume I'm using the right term with chord progression, but for anyone who plays guitar out there, what is or do you consider to be the quickest chord progressive song?
For me I'd say the three fastest I've found are "I Will", "Till There Was You" and "Yesterday" but thats just with the range of songs I've tried! anyone know quicker ones?
I love trying to play the fast ones as some like yesterday have a chord change per word which is a nice challenge!

Being For The benefit of Mr. Kite, She's Leaving Home, Here There Everywhere, Michelle are all quick/many moving chord changers that spring immediately to mind. :)
-
of course...just remembered, Across The Universe. That has to be the one...Martha My Dear ain't too slow or Honey Pie. :)
-
ah yeah haha, I play many of them, michelle is very fast actually! love that one!
-
I'm Looking Through You is a fast one, there's a chord change for almost every word I think.

oh yes! I gave up on that song for that very reason, for too difficult!

Good shout! ;)

there a hell of a lot of beatles songs that have a lot of bass runs, where its the same chord but the root note/bass note changes thansk to Macca usually ;)
anyways Only a northern song has alot of chord changes.

Not even given that a crack. Sounds such a loose vague tune. Very apathetic but many chords genius going on. ;)

Also a real slow song but with quickish chord changes and plenty of progression Yes it is

Real interesting thread guys. I'm mainly bass. What's 'I've Just Seen A Face Before' like? I imagine plenty of syncopation going on there aswell for guitar. It's been said quite a bit lately but what an intro.

its actually just the same G chord for ive just seen a face i cant forget, then its switches to Em for the same length on the next line and so on, but it all depends how you play as there are folk on youtube who play the chords but add in the bass lines on top and then it becomes a whole load of chords with root add ons.

Which chords do u use for I've just seen a face then? could u possibly say which string u pluck for the base line as you go along?
I tent to use the A to F#m to D to E to A! but no base line, I'd love to try and include it though!

You wanna give Blackbird a go on guitar. Playing that whilst singing it too is no easy feat! Lots of technical changes going on all over the place, all the time.

ah a friend taught me the plucking technique to it, have played it for ages, so has become really easy after awhile! not bad for singing to, but gets boring to play

I use the same chords. It's like an old 50's doo-wop progression, in my mind!
Another song whose chords seemed faster than I expected they would be is "It's Only Love" (the verses, and weird chords too...?). It's been a while since I played that one ... anyone else try it?

that is quick actually, I havn't really tried it but the chords I have for it, for the first line in order are: G, Bm, F, C, Dsus2, D, Dsus2, D, Baug! so lots for that, I may try it soon!

Here, There, and Everywhere is actually a fairly quick chord progression and a bit of a challenge to play at first, but sounds good when you work at it.

Honey Pie is pretty quick aswell!
