Can somebody tell me all their names that they've ever gone by?
Like were they ever called the Rainbows? I think I remember Paul saying they each wore a different color shirt.
Was Quarry Men two words or one? Did they have another name before Quarrymen?
Silver Beatles actually ever Silver Beetles?
What about Long John and the Silver Beatles?
Other names?
Any help in clearing this up is much appreciated.
John: You're just a lonely old man from Liverpool.
Grandfather: But I'm clean!
John: Are ya?

The Quarry Men
Johnny and the Moondogs
The Moondogs
Long John and the Silver Beatles
The Silver Beatles
The Beatles

I think that's pretty much all of the ones I've heard.

Did John and Paul do a gig as The Nerk Twins in the early sixties?

Mairi

Yes, they were called the Rainbows for a very short period.
I am posting on an internet forum, therefore my opinion is fact.
