I haven't been that much online this week. Other priorities, sorry. It'll be a shame to see you or any other member leave. Stick around! At least your mailbox is more up the page than mine for a start. ;D

We were snowed in here in the Northeast so I haven't been online either for the past three days.  If you want to go parading that's OK.  Just be back for the final run-through.

I'm going to stick around. I don't think I could leave this place for more than a week without wondering what's new... I'm just having a bit of a rough time right now and there are some problems here I'd rather not discuss, right here.

Dancing's good. I smacked my head on a chair and currently right now can't see out of my right eye which makes dancing a danger. I might just be permanently nearsighted in one eye.  :-\

I'm glad you might be in a dance competition next week. Can't wait to hear about it.  :)

Hey Octie! :)

It's nice to see you around here again!

Thanks. The doctors told be that my eye isn't hurt and that I'm having bad headaches which are making the vision in my right eye blurry... It will heal so I'm hoping it will heal before my dance shows start!

Hey, that's good news! Hope your eye heals soon (and the headaches go away too)!

When does your dance show start?
I'm going to watch KE's ceroc competition in a few weeks' time... exciting! 8)
And we both have a ballroom social dance coming up soon, so that should be fun too :)

I hope the headaches will go away too! I can't drive with them.  :-\

My dance shows start on the 6th and go through the end of March non stop. There's a show everyday.

I wish good luck to KE and her dance competition!  ;D I hope there will be photos...

I hope you two have fun!

Lord! I went to a pre-champs class and it was so nerve wrecking!!! Dancing to an audience... never done that before. But I reckon my partner and I did ok.  Sadly after the class I got lost for about an hour on the road... (I am not a very experienced driver... hehehehe!)
So tell me about this man of yours hey hey hey! You seem to be deeply in love!!!!! cute!!! I remember the fun days...... Sadly me and my man arent together anymore... :( But stil a special friendship has been preserved :). A friend of mine has been going out with this guy whom she kept saying she really really really loves. Guess what? she got engaged to him earlier this year! I think she hurried that a bit, but if they love eachother, nothing can stop them right?
I am debating whether I want to spend much on competition costumes... Coz I can go all hard out and stuff, but then, is it really worth it? I suppose it does as it is my first comp and I can attract the attention of the judges by what I wear. I have red hair, so I thought of wearing something red or yellow or orangie? Something that will stand out.... I shall keep thinking. There are some really awesome skirts and dresses online, but again, do I want to spend so much on it?

I love classes that are way too hard for me.  :P It helps me keep going in dance to have people watching. Sadly, a lot of them are very rude but you get used to it.    :)
Oh my, did you have to go anywhere after the class or did you have time to just roam around? I sometimes like to get lost driving.  :P

My boyfriend and I are so much in love it's crazy.   ;yes  He looks a lot like Ringo but that wasn't what was the first thought (at the time). He's so sweet and loves any jokes. (He's into the Beatles.) I'll pm you a pic.  ;D
I used to like someone else but he left dancing. Now I look at pictures and wonder how I ever liked him. Heh. roll:)
My dance friend in Florida married the first guy she met in Florida. He's an angel to her and she's only 19. They married back in December and I'm so happy for her!

Now, for costumes... my dance group always picks yellows and blues for girls with red hair because it helps them stand out from the crowd. They always put red (or green) for me because of my tan coloring. I can ask one of my friends about this because she dances Irish Dance plus ceroc and ballroom. She's the same one that lives in Florida! I've always been forced to buy costumes that are not the cheapest. If you saw my solo dress on here, the cost was near to $3,000... this is why I need the job.  :P If you can, find the cheapest thing that looks the greatest! That's usually what I do otherwise for costumes.

Who is your partner for dance and what does he look like? This'll helo with colors for costumes.  ;D
