you ll probably find that Elton took piano lessons,  practiced his scales
and passed all the  piano exams,  5th  grade  etc.
Somehow you cant see Paul or John having the patience to do all that.

Paul was primarily a Bass player (and a great one) he was/is as good on bass as Elton is a pianist so I dont get comparing them?

How is Elton's bass playing ?

well that's another question,is it not?elton john was mentioned earlier in the thread,that's all.the topic is called 'paul on the ivories'.i thought we were just talking about pauls' prowess as a pianist,and that's the way the conversation has gone.i'd probably say too that primarily paul is a guitarist.but that is also another thread,i suppose.
