I love the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield and the Hollies, so I obviously prefer the CSNY song!

"Can't Explain" is my favorite Who song and just one of my overall favorite songs. It's a quintessential 60's song if ever there was one! So I pick The Who.  ;)

I love "I Can't Explain" too. You may be right about it being a quintessential 60's song, since the Nazz borrowed its intro!

No, I can't choose a favorite.  I consider both songs great for different personal reasons.  The Beatles" song is fun, but Neil Young's song has significant meaning considering the time it was written.  I'll defer to someone else to make a choice.

Neil's song surely has more merits, and the Beatles' song is not one of the best from A Hard Day's Night, but somehow I still like it.

It was really tempting to say The Beach Boys because I love "Pet Sounds" and I am ashamed to say I was not familiar with Paul's song. After a closer look though I have to choose Paul's very touching "Here Today". This video sealed the deal:

Technically, as a song, I do prefer the Beach Boys' one, but Paul's song is really touching, especially for Beatles fans.

Actually I've already posted those two songs, and you chose the Beatles' one! :)

For me, it's hard to choose, both are classic moments in Rock history. Maybe the Beatles' track has the edge, because of those brilliant solos and the cosmic final lyric.

In the matter of The Rolling Stones "Good Times" vs Love's "Good Times" I rule in favor of The Stones. It's a nice cover of the Sam Cooke song.
Love does do a neat little ending though.
