I believe John was the funniest, but George would always come up with a good punchline here and there.

John was definitely the funniest. By a mile.

Interviewer : Is Ringo the best drummer in the world?
John : In the world? He's not even the best drummer in The Beatles.

That one never fails to make me laugh out loud. John definitely gets my vote for funniest Beatle, although they were all clever and witty.

And then later Paul went on to prove that Ringo wasn't the only drummer in the Beatles.  ;D

I think Ringo is genuinely the funniest, George in his own way was very funny too.

What always amazes me is how all four of them were able to come up with clever, witty -- and, most important, unscripted -- responses to the media's questions. I just can't think that quickly on my feet like that, and I admire it.

They were complmentary to each other. I think a lot of John's humor was a cover up for whatever was bothering him! But.. he still was funny!
