Magical Mystery Tour - First Released in the US
« on: September 16, 2010, 02:06:07 AM »

I think Magical Mystery Tour was first released in the US because it wasn't made as a double EP.

The double EP wasn't released as such in the US.

Like Bobber said, the double EP wasn't released in the US, it was only released in the UK. EP's in the US were considered an "anomaly", to quote "Can't Buy Me Love: The Beatles, Britian, and America". So Capitol released Magical Mystery Tour with the songs from the movie on the first side, and the Beatles' recent singles (Penny Lane w/Strawberry Fields Forever, All You Need Is Love w/Baby You're A Rich Man, ect.) on the other side.
