Former Cleveland newsman recalls time traveling with Beatles; seeks those he entertained in homes in 1960s with stories of Fab Four

For a time in 1964, Art Schreiber was not the most liked man among his peer group.All his peers wanted was for him to get an autograph from four of the most celebrated people of all time, people to whom Schreiber had immediate access. But the newsman, then news director at Cleveland radio station KYW, wouldn’t oblige.

Huge slate of Beatles programming due on BBC America in June

As part of BBC America's “Summer of London” programming in June, the network will feature several programs with the Beatles, including a new brand-new documentary on John Lennon.
The new program “Discovering Lennon” will premiere in the U.S. at 9 p.m. ET/PT June. 19. The documentary, from executive producer Dominic Saville, aired in the UK last December.

Postponed 'Beatles: Lost Concert' still planned, includes 'lost' song

The Beatles: The Lost Concert,” which scrubbed its premiere and two scheduled screenings in May, is still targeted for release, a spokesman for the film said Monday. Screenvision, the film's producer, is now planning to show the film later this summer, though no specific new screening dates are available.
