Review of 'Beatles Stories': documentary captures history, incredible memories

The highly acclaimed Beatles documentary called ‘Beatles Stories’ is being released on DVD and in digital formats by Cinema Libre Studio on October 2. The film, by songwriter Seth Swirsky, features fascinating personal interviews with celebrities and other notables about their memories of knowing the Beatles.

Mersey ferry to Celebrate The Beatles

FERRY MUSIC – The famous 'ferry cross the Mersey' service operated by Mersey ferries, are to run River Shuffle Cruises in honour of the 50th anniversary of The Beatles last performance aboard the Royal Iris.

Move over Ringo, George, John and Paul, there’s a new fab four in town and while during the day they may go by the names of Emanuele Angeletti, Gordon Elsmore, Reuven Gershon and Stephen Hill, for the next few months they’ll be moonlighting as that most famous of foursomes in Let It Be, the new West End spectacular celebrating 50 years since musical phenomenon The Beatles released their first single.

Jeff Slate's Beatles-connected Birds of Paradox to release first album

Oct. 9 will be the release date for the first album from Jeff Slate's Birds of Paradox, his new band that features musicians that have played with John Lennon and Paul McCartney, Slate announced today.
