Elton unveils footage of Lennon

Sir Elton John has unveiled extraordinary footage of his famous onstage performance of Empty Garden with John Lennon in New York. The painstakingly restored film, shot by a fan, is the only known colour footage of the historic occasion on November 29, 1974, when the former Beatles rocker was the star guest at a gig by the Rocket Man at Madison Square Garden, which turned out to be Lennon's final stage performance.

John Lennon: The Last Great Anti-War Activist

"All we are saying is give peace a chance." -- John Lennon. Despite the moving tributes that were paid to John Lennon's lyrical vision of a world without war, racial or religious divisions or hunger at the conclusion of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, there's really very little real talk of peace anymore.

What Would John Lennon Think ?

As one of the greatest rock legends of all time, and one of my personal heroes, I can't help but wonder what John Lennon would think of the digital music scene that has transformed the music industry from a physical content distribution powerhouse to a crowd-sourcing, fan-driven social platform of equals, and all the technological accessories it has spawned.
