Neil Young
nimrod:
I never thought his later stuff (and I mean 1980 on) was as good as his earlier stuff
Sir John Johns:
I gotta dig out my EKTIN record - the cd sounds so flat, compared to the vinyl
post 1980 - ragged glory & sleeps with angels are my faves.
i also like Trans, but I'm funny that way....
In My Life:
I'm just now really getting into his music. I knew his work with CS&N and a few other songs but "After the Gold Rush" was what drew me in. It's nice because my son and I actually can agree on this. He couldn't wait to tell me that one of the news anchors reporting astronaut Neil Armstrong's death accidentally said Neil Young, to which I replied, "Hey, hey...my, my. Neil Young didn't die". roll:)

His work in Buffalo Springfield is also essential.
