David Bedford from the Beatles Social Network www.beatlesocialnetwork.com reports that at the Liverpool Love charitable event, Klaus Voormann’s painting (Stuart’s Last Sunset) was auctioned for 4,000 pounds, and Stuart Sutcliffe’s painting (a monotype) went for 10,000 pounds.

Alex, Stuart’s great-nephew (and he's really a great nephew), was also at the event.  He says of Stuart’s work: “It was the most expensive piece of artwork there.  Yoko’s went for about 5000 pounds.”
