Here's a good instructional video for Every Little Thing.  He's playing a Rickenbacker 360-12 instead of a 325-12...

Yer Blues - John
I think Yer Blues was a dual lead as well. IMO, that's when john and George are at their best! One of my favorites!

I thought the actual solo was played by George though. Have to check that.

I think as in the one on R & R Circus, John played his choppy lead then Eric (or George) takes over

So Ill take it off the list

On &R Circus I think it was Eric but on the White Album George rips it Even though there's a lot of studio reverb on his lead!

Considering how many songs the Beatles recorded the list isn't very long. Of course acknowledging that many songs simply didn't have a lead guitar solo.

No argument on best. Something is gorgeous. One of the great guitar solos ever as far as I'm concerned.

And I'll follow the sun solo is pretty lame. A feeble restating of the melody. I'll have to see if I can find a weaker George solo.

Another great solo is in Til There Was You.  Like all the best of George. Not technically overly demanding. But every note working beautifully.

8 lousy notes

wrong guitar tone

Till There Was You, did George create that or did somebody else ?

I can't be sure but I think he worked out the solo. It wasn't part of the original.  Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks Kelley!

I also have a strong suspicion that John plays the solo on Hey Bulldog, definitely sounds like his rhythmically oriented style and strong attack.

I think John does the sqwauckey part. reminds me of the rhythm part in What Goes On. Main lead sounds a bit like the one in I, Me Mine a couple of years later that we know John didn't play on.
