been listening to this constantly since it came out. I must say I find it pretty strong, there isn't a track I skip over. I can't wait to get the vinyl version.

I Can Bet has grown on me, and has become my favourite track. Other highlights for me are Alligator, Appreciate, Road, Queenie Eye, On My Way To Work, Early Days, Turned Out & Scared

I didn't but Kisses either, Rod Stewart singing (and sounding like a Grandma) put me off 'Standards' albums. The Fireman albums are very enjoyable though, especially Electric Arguments.

Is it me, or has this album already fallen off the side of a cliff, never to be heard from again?

You mean commercially? If yes, I cannot answer that as I'm not really aware of charts and stuff like that. But among music fan groups, it's still getting praise I think, even making "best albums of 2013" type of lists. In fact, just recently I saw someone on a forum calling it the best thing he's done since Tug Of War.

Cool. I belong to a bunch of music forums and nobodys talking about it anymore except for the few that added it to their list of most disappointing records of 2013. Eh, just havent heard anything about it in some time. Its alright to me now, but nothing more.

My local college radio station plays several tracks from it. It hasn't been forgotten, at least by them. Can't say I think any of the songs are stellar, but they are pleasant enough and inoffensive, even a bit catchy if not memorable once the song is over.

It hasn't been forgotten by me, or by people on the Steve Hoffman forum.

Just listening to the vinyl pressing, so far it's a very pleasant experience, which really opens up the nuances of the tracks, I may delete the cd rip and needle drop this puppy.

I love when he gets nostalgic.
