When one song makes you think of another song

(1/2) > >>

Whenever I hear "Rocky Raccoon", I always think of "The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill" and vice versa. Maybe because they are both on the White Album and they have men's names in the titles.

Also "Penny Lane" and "Strawberry Fields" are linked to me.  Besides being flip sides of a single, they were Paul and John talking about places in their childhood.

Any others have songs that are linked?

In My Life:
Good question revenert! I'll have to think on this.

Hello Goodbye:
When I hear...

George Harrison-My Sweet Lord (Studio Version) Original

I think of...

The Chiffons He's So Fine

And vice versa.

Hello Goodbye:
But if you're specifying just Beatles songs, then when I hear any of Paul's early love songs where Jane Asher served as his muse, I think about the others.

Hello Goodbye:
Or these two...

Twist and Shout - The Beatles - Live Washington Coliseum (1964)

The Beatles - Rock'n Roll Music (Live)
