Mairi,
You just know that Paul must have embarrassed by her behavior.

I can't believe somebody would mistake him for John Lennon. The story may not even be true. I mean, who knows. I certainly hope it's not. I can't imagine a teenager not knowing Lennon's dead. My first graders know this! And I sure never told them. It's sorta like thinking Elvis is still alive. Common knowledge.

How about teenagers who don't even know who John Lennon is?
There were some in my class last year. Of course I managed to educate them.

Yeah, I guess. It just amazes me that there are people that have never heard of him. I feel like that's next to impossible. Well, thank god there will always be someone out there to set them straight!! And these teenagers you know, did they grow up in caves?? Just kidding. It's just so strange to be that age and not know.

I'm 100% positive that every kid at my school knows who he is. We do songs by him, the music teacher plays his music at assemblies, we have a bulletin board this month taking his quote from Imagine. Our monthly theme this month was taken from that quote so each class had to do something with it. K-6 this is! I guess we're a very pro John school!! Even still it's not like anyone said who's this guy?

I'm pretty sure the only time they spent apart was when he was incarcerated for 9 days for the Japan bust.

I wish my school was like that, that must be awesome!  ;D

In my spanish class last year, my teacher had a picture of The Beatles on his wall, along with Bob Dylan

only like 5 students in the whole school wear Beatle shirts, including me

their are kids who havent heard a single Beatle song, there are people who havent heard of John Lennon at my school too...and these kids who listen to classick rock, and talk about The Who and the stones, call the beatles gay.......i hate my school,we need more beatles fans

yeah sandra is a lucky one.

my friend and i are the only huge fans of real rock and roll in my school. it's a shame that people are musically deaf. one time, i was listening to the beatles and this girl took my headphones and lsitened to it and she thought it was country

I personally think Heather married Paul just for the money & the instant fame of marrying a former Beatle which she has now but she will be only a footnote in Beatles history when it comes to women unlike Linda & Yoko.

If he didn't get plastic surgery, why on earth does his face looked so pulled back?? I think a lot of the Heather stuff comes from the same thing that inspired people to not like Linda. That and the fact that people did come to love Linda and now feel Heather is a poor replacement. But who knows. She does seem to grate on my nerves when I see her in interviews for some reason.
