The songs says, "I Am The Walrus". That's basically a declarative statement right there. The only reason he said "The walrus was Paul" in Glass Onion was to mess with all of the hoax-believers.

But the funny thing is that the hoax started in 1969 and there's no proof that The Beatles really intented to start this hoax while they were making the White Album.
