Back In The US DVD question
« on: April 02, 2005, 05:03:46 PM »

On the DVD, Paul sings the first line of a song as a joke (something with "I was walking down the street" I think?) and then cuts it off and the audience laughs. Just curious: is that really a song or just some improvisation?

As far as I recall it's the opening line from a George Formby song. He as a British music-hall star of the 1940's of whom George Harrison was a huge fan!

I love seeing Jack Nicholson singing along to the "na's" at the end of Hey Jude. Very cool.

Oh, and I loved the punk rock sound check version of Hey Jude... He should do that during the actual concerts. :)
