I understand that you werent knocked out by the wallpaper that was presented by the author, but wouldnt it be better to just say nothing than to degrade it?

I see your point but Sarit DID ask what we think. Ydoll Gwyn said

Hello everyone,
this conversation has definitley grown out of what I've expected it to be
For some odd reason this thread made the realisation that I have no brain (not true, I'm quite smart), or that I'm an artist (not true, I'm photoshoping for fun).

FOr those of you who enjoyed, I'm glad.

Ydol Gwyn, I Googled the phrase "Constructive Criticism" (here:http://www.peaceandhealing.com/criticism/constructive.asp) for your general knowledge, I think you should adopt some of it - it's really important for life in general.

Love! :)

So tell me, in Australia, is it not considered rude to call someone dumb?

All depends on context. Missy didn't read what I had written carefully enough, and was "putting words into my mouth". So I called her on it: and her next post showed that she agreed.

Bless you, I wasn't trying to offer constructive criticism! I was responding to your Let me know what you think.

So Sarit: you went fishing for compliments, and didn't get quite what you expected. However, at least from me you got honesty: of course, I can't speak for anyone else.

I'm sorry - I'm a weak human being, and I cannot resist this:-

I did put artist in inverted commas! Not for one moment did I think you were an artist without inverted commas!!

Awwww, you shouldn't leave the forum just because of one person, Sarit! I'm sure if you look around you'll find that for the most part we can be quite a fun bunch.

Yeah, you're probably right.
I think I'll just lurk around and see how dominent the guy is, and if I should ever try posting something again without being insulted (without a reason).
You guys are great , thanks :)

Actually, I was kind of being sarcastic.

I don't think you were being sarcastic. Here's the relevant bit: Haha, ok I went back and read what you actually wrote (as opposed to the other thing I read before), and you're right.

If you think that's being sarcastic, you need to attend Sarcasm 101 classes urgently!
