John and The Arabs
« on: October 18, 2005, 10:17:47 AM »

Found this on a web-site about arab freedom fighters/terroists fighting the Niger government. (them of famine fame).
"In the depths of the southern Libyan desert they heard for the first time the rebel philosophy of Nasser, Ghadaffi and Che Guevara, as well as the rebel music of Bob Marley, Nass El Ghiwane and John Lennon."

A beautiful image of robe wrapped fighters huddled around the fire in the cold desert air singing "if you had the luck of the Irish..."
