The Ballad of John and Yoko is a great piece of music, when understanding the direction
Lennon was taking both musically and attitude-wise. His famous sarcasm and acid wit suddenly grew in strength after a mild period.

Get Back is a much better song though.
Its one of my favourites.
Mccartneys soft and rustic voice is amazing, with a great thumping bass line, some lovely Lennon-Guitar work, and great drumming.

The Live performances are incredible.

Get Back.

After a while, The Ballad of John and Yoko can get annoying.  Get Back is much nicer to listen to and doesn't do that with me.

It has to be GET BACK. The Ballad of J & Y is pretty boring to play along to if you happen to be a rythm guitarist or drummer that has to play it. Three chords, virtually no drum fills, and it seems to drag on a bit for me...

Get Back is one of my absolute favorite Beatles songs. The live version on the rooftop is the ultimate that is possible in terms of "Band-Coolness".[/quote]

No question about it, GET BACK! Mainly being the last concert on the rooftop, The Ballad is not far behind  ;) I can't wait for the new DVD of Let it Be and hope they added the lost Abbey Road sessions, this I heard Paul wanted, we'll see  :D
