The Walrus was Paul: The Great Beatle Death Clues
« on: June 05, 2004, 09:28:13 PM »

Has anyone read the book? If you have what did you think? Has anyone even heard of it? lol :)

See my mom and I got into the whole thing about Paul being "dead" which I thought was just a laugh, and she she hands me this book that she has (The Walrus was Paul) and tells me to read it, that it'll make me go "humm". It was an interesting book, I wont deny that, but it still didn't work to convince me that Paul was dead.

I actually really dug this book, I've read it many times. Whether you believe in it or not, you must admit that its good reading ... or at best, entertaining.

That's how I felt. I read it in 2 days because it was so interesting. It's funny actually, some of my friends were asking about it, and I was showing them some of the stuff and one of them actually borrowed it and read it too because he thought it was interesting.

The one part that I thought was the most interesting was the Srg. Pepper's drum, that was kinda creepy. I also felt bad for the guy that wrote it, he has way too much spare time looking into all of that lol. My dad got it for my mom from some radio thing, and it's signed by the author and he wrote, like, "Laurie, have a good time on this Magical Mystery Tour! Goo Goo G'joob" I read that right away, cause it's in the front cover, and I already felt bad for the guy lmao.

I think I'll probably read it again soon, you know, catch all the stuff I missed the first time.

I haven't read it, but I would like to! I find all that PID myth absolutely fascinating :)

Does anyone have details of author and publisher etc?

I dont think this has ever been attributed to the "Paul is dead clues", but I was watching an old performance of "Yesreday" I cant remember which show it was, but George introduced it by saying "and for Paul McCartney of Liverpool, oppotunity knocks". Paul sang "Yesterday" and afterwards John says"Thank you Paul, that was just like him". Now I think this live performance was much earlier than the so called "clues" started appearing, but it is interesting that this was never linked to the "Paul is dead" clues in light of what John and George said at the beginning and end of the song.

Oh good Lord.   ::)

I believe that was the summer 1966 Night Out in Blackpool performance.  And there's a good reason why it's never been linked to the PID.

Creative thought process tho.
