Gosh. Thanks guys. I thought I'd have a quick look in, and saw this. All is well. Fifty bloody four. I'm sure they've made a mistake.
Have just bought a nice little cottage in Buckinghamshire with the wife, living a quiet life. I still look in some times, see something I want to talk about, but when I sit down to write...i just still can't raise my pecker (if you know what I mean.) I truly can't think of anything new to say Beatlewise, and i think my views on most topics are known enough. Need some inspiration.
One day I will make an effort. To be honest I haven't listened to The Beatles in ages, in fact have gone off hairy man bands quite a bit all round. Listening more to Jony Mitchell and Gillian Welsh now. God I'm old.
Really miss the old regulars though...howdy Mairi, PC, HG, Bobber and everyone, which makes me think I should make more of an effort.
