I`ve discussed John with my students today and was happy to find out how many of them know something about John. Some called him the great Briton John Lennon. Everybody remembers you, John!

This photo was taken in Stockholm (where I live) in october 1963 on a wall beside the town hall. So me and my friend went to the wall to celebrate the birhtday of John. We had some cake and played some songs on our guitars.

We're going there again october 24th cuz then it's exactly 45 years since Beatles was there!

What are you all doing for John's birthday? Unfortuantly I'll be heading to France on Friday I may lay some flowers on the John Lennon Bench up town. It's quite sad that no one seems to notice his name you don't see many tourists take pics of it.

So it IS the 9th!!! Someone told me it was the 8th!!! Arg. Anyways, I am planning on wearing all white (sinse he wore all white on the Abbey Road cover) and my Lennon shades to school. And prolly listen to his songs when I get home.

i think some people go to strawberry fields in central park or the dakota where he lived and light candles, singalong vigils and so on
then the classic rock station plays

honestly, i'll try and avoid listening to his music that day . . . . well, maybe one or two songs
