why thankyou everyone for decorating my mainlbox with all the amazing George pics! I really should check my mailbox more often!  ;D

And Mr Kite,
My woodpecker knowledge is expanding- so thank you very much! And WHY oh WHY do pigeons nest under railway bridges? oh senseless birds. I have a feeling that (with all due respect for pigeons nationwide) that it is due to their stupidity. THey appear to lack intelligence a bit don't they?! I love woodpigeons. I can see one right now- they nest in our roof. This is a clever example of nesting which the common pigeon should learn from- intelligent placement and they make a damn good (if not far too early) alarm clock  :)

I'm so very bored! Waiting for my friend to pick me up but she is 2 hours late dammit- well she has just passed her driving test so is probably being a cautious driver or something

Anyway I hope any and all visiters to my mailbox are well! Doubt anyone noticed but I havent been here for about a week- Glastonbury Festival which was fantastique! I quite like coming back here after not being here for a bit- theres suddenly a load of new interesting threads to dig in to  ;)

oooh cool! I shall take a look at some point  :) Yeh I have heard a lot of people say Glastonbury is more sold out and I'm sad to admit that each year it does get more commercial. I have noticed an increase in people going just thinking it is 'the cool thing to do' rather than because they want to for the festival's sake, but having said that, it is my favourite place on Earth and still maintains a healthy community of hippies and eccentrics particularly in the 'Green Fields' which I hope never leave! And I find the festival also has a generally very 'safe' feel- which is uncanny for its size! Do you hope to go there possibly in one of the years to come?  :)

Ahhh tis fair enough! Pity they don't offer more day tickets really. Want to know something absolutely ridiculous and very annoying? I wasn't a Beatles fan on the year Paul was at Glastonbury so I didn't even go and see him  >:( It was soon after that year that I discovered so much good music I had been missing and I have been kicking myself ever since for not seeing Paul that year! He was actually on the year after Radiohead though- he headlined with Muse and Oasis
