Wingspan's alright. If you're a casual fan of Wings then yeah you'd enjoy it.

The reason I think it's alright is because it's just from Paul's point of view and there's no input from any other members. They should have (in my opinion) made it like The Beatles Anthology but they didn't.

^ It's weird that Paul didn't collaborate with others for the "Wingspan" DVD, as if they didn't exist. But it seems like this "forgetfulness" happens quite a bit...

I recently finished Many Years From Now and was hoping that Paul and Barry Miles would have a lot to say about Wings. I really liked the book and its in-depth view of Paul's time with the Beatles, but I was really disappointed that Paul and the author had practically nothing to say about his experience with Wings. I guess the book was mostly supposed to be about Paul in the 1960's, but still, what gives? You would know about this better than I would, but are there major reasons that Paul doesn't want to talk about his memories? Was he so unhappy being in Wings, because I've heard stories about terrible in-fighting...

I'm not sure why he doesn't talk about his Wings memories, probably has something to do with Linda being in the band? I know that when Jimmy left the band, he wasn't on great terms with McCartney. He complained that Paul didn't pay very well and that he was sick of being treated like a session man. The turning point for Jimmy was the London Town sessions, where Linda virtually kept him prisoner.
