Meet The Beatles! (The Book, yeah...)
« on: June 22, 2007, 11:24:08 PM »

I recently read Meet the Beatles! by Steven D. Stark - basically, it's a cultural analysis of the Beatles, focusing on how their influences and how they influenced the world (culture, gender, fashion, music, race, politics, etc.). I thought it was very good. It gave a lot of insights into the boys' personalities and needs as well as pointed out a lot of subtle changes they made to the world that I hadn't noticed before. Plus, it was a very engaging read, which always helps. ;)

Anyone else read it?

I haven't read it but I'll keep an eye out for that one - sounds like the sort of book I'd enjoy. Thanks Fox, and welcome. :)

I think it's pretty new - I check the Beatles shelf from time to time, and I hadn't seen it there before. Hope you find it! ;)

Ooh, different cover than mine. I think I like that one better. But sounds like a good deal!
