Here is a great April 1975 long interview with John Lennon when he had found out that day that Yoko was pregnant with Sean although he doesn't say this here. It's one of the main reasons that he is in such a happy mood! This interview was done the same month that his Tomorrow Show interview with Tom Snyder was done, but this interview is even better!

Here is the detailed description of what a crazy, horrible piece of sh*t the guy who killed John was,who was unbelievably a former big Beatles fan,and John had been his favorite since he was like 12 years old.He tried  twice to kill himself very unfortunately unsuccessfully, once when he was 22 he tried to gas himself to death in his car but very unfortunately a guy found him and saved him! If only he hadn't found him or found him too late!

He even said years after he so cruelly and irrationally shot and killed John that he even met John's then 5 year old son Sean not long before he killed his father, and he shook Sean's little hand and said that he was the cutest little boy he ever saw and that it never occurred to him that he would never see his father again!

My father is a retired lawyer and in 1988 he saw the PBS Frontline special called,The Man Who Shot John Lennon which is on youtube,,and said what a crazy horrible guy!

He also admitted that he was also considering killing other celebrities,Elizabeth Taylor,Johnny Carson, the mayor of Hawaii, president Ronald Regan,Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis,Paul McCartney and actor George C Scott but he said John was a more accebsible target on his list! :'( icon_mad

I have to share this unreal personal storty. The night John was killed, hours before I did something I never had done before, for some unknown reasons I put some flowers I think they were dried flowers, into a Beatles book that I had since I got it for my 11th birthday years before,I also put a small piece of paper that I wrote December 8,1980 at about 9:40 or closer to 10pm, in the book on the same page with flowers. It wasn't unusual for me to be listening to Beatles albums at night, but again for some unknown reasons I had to keep playing John's song I Am The Walrus on my then turn table, over and over again, this was before  and during 11pm when John was being shot and killed! The next day when I learned about John's death I looked in the Beatles book and I saw that the flowers were right near John's face in the group picture of The Beatles in India! :'( :o

I have never ever had any type of experience like this before or since!

In this April/May 1982 New Music Express interview with Paul McCartney he's asked about how he feels about John's murder and the it's a drag comment that he didn't mean and how horribly up set he really was and is and how he and John really loved each other.Paul also says that soon after John died he spoke with Yoko on the phone,( in a 1986 Entertainment This Week interview he says Yoko called him the day after John died and told him that John would tell Yoko that he really loved Paul) and that Yoko said to Paul,John was really fond of you,you know.

I miss you, John.

That's the jacket John used in the Rubber Soul cover, right? I always liked it.

This traditional folk song was adapted by Jim McGuinn to lament the assassination of John F. Kennedy:

I'd like to express the same feeling by changing some words to cry the death of John W. Lennon:

He was a friend of mine, he was a friend of mine
His killing had no purpose, no reason or rhyme
Oh, he was a friend of mine

He was in New York town, he was in New York town
In Dakota archway a gunner shot him down
Oh, he died in New York town

He never knew my name, he never knew my name
Though I never met him I knew him just the same
Oh, he was a friend of mine

Leader of the Beatles for such a precious time
Oh, he was a friend of mine
"Love is old, love is new; love is all, love is you."

That's lovely, Andrés.

Thanks Kelley.

I changed very few words just related to facts, because the spirit of the song express the same feeling.
"Love is old, love is new; love is all, love is you."

All these years on and still this pointless violent act leaves me in a state of disbelief
