Ha, thanks! My German is not that bad tho, but it's quite a complex grammar if you're not German. Dirk is probably better in German than I am.

Whew!!  I almost missed this thread, Kev.

Of course I remember The Searchers!  Ah yes, don't let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief shining moment, that was known as Camelot...

One of my favorite songs remains When You Walk In The Room...

When you walk in the room - The Searchers

written by Jackie DeShannon...

I love her!!

There's nothing as nice as the sound of a Rickenbacker 360/12!

Kevin, I'm curious as to why Mike Pender left The Searchers and why we have two bands called The Searchers today.

He spells his name Barrie.

When I took French, our teacher told us what the French equivalents of our names were.  That's how she had me spell it.

Maybe it's a dream come true,
Standing right alongside of you.
Wish I could tell you how much I care,
But I only have the nerve to stare.

I can feel a something pounding in my brain,
Just anytime that someone speaks your name.
Trumpets sound, I hear thunder boom.
Every time that you walk in the room.

Coming of age, discovering girls, and hearing lyrics like those.   What a time that was!
