They're very good!  The George guitarist did a fine job combining George and Paul's hamony guitar riffs as they were originally recorded...
Nice! I'm getting a little more enthused.

You've heard lead harmony guitar before in songs like...
Yikes, I know that song, didn't know the name, though. That triggered a painful memory. (It's too boring to share.) I've never hit "stop" so fast.  ;D

This one, too, brings me pain. I'm not playing it, just posting it 'cause I think it's a good song. I have it on my playlist but always skip it. There's logic for ya.  ;)

Blimey Kathy, you brought this 14 year old thread back to life, did you need a Defib ?  ha2ha

I havent seen any tribute bands since The White Album one in Brisbane about 7 years ago. Mind you theres been no gigs for the last 2 years.

Was that seven years ago!? Scary.

I missed this comment when you first posted it, Nim. Interesting: I would think the White Album would be fairly tricky to play live. Well, some of the songs, anyway.

I had to jump back online and do a search. Wow, I am clearly not up to speed in regard to tribute groups. I'm not sure if this is the one you were referring to, nimrod/Moogmodule:

But Christopher Cross?? I have a hard time imagining that. And apparently The Who's John Entwistle was part of the Abbey Road tribute show/band. Hm. That, too, I have a hard time picturing. But the latter was led by Alan Parsons, according to the article, and I can definitely see that.

Well, I hope this song, with its harmony lead guitar starting at 3:08, doesn't trigger any bad memories.  It's called Ramblin' Man...

Them's fightin' words, Barry.  ;)

They're both gifted.

Dickey Betts named his son Duane in honor of his bandmate.  He passed his gift to his son.  Here they teach us to play Jessica's harmony guitar parts...
