I forgot another one that I just did today.  You know you're a Beatles fan when you're in a lecture and you're doing an exercise to see how many national anthems you can recognise, and the only reason you know the German one is because John sings it in the bath in A Hard Day's Night.

I found this absolutely hilarious, even though it made me a complete dork because I'm so obsessed with the boys.  I was in a hotel on Friday and naturally the First US Visit came into my head simply because I was in a hotel room.  But nothing prepared me for the painting on the wall...  I think it was supposed to be trees on the edge of a river, but they were a bit abstract so they looked like lollipops rather than trees.  There were four of them, and one of them was on the opposite side of the river to the other three, making it look shorter than the other...  So naturally I shouted "Ringo, I've done an abstract!"  *Points to the little one*  "Is that one me?"  "No, that's the married one!"
I am the biggest dork.   ;sorry

You know you're a fan when...

You try to dance to Beatles music and even though the song's a bit fast, you dance really fast to catch up with the song and then end up tripping and falling over dancing too fast.

When in another book you read (literally just read this part haha) there is a character named Paul, and you already picture him like Paul McCartney. but then you read this:

"Apparently, his mother had meant to name him after a heroic uncle, a spy supposedly, who died in World War II, but his father, Robbie, meant to name him after Paul McCartney".

This, of course, leads you certainly picture the character like Paul, and be really happy.

Later in this same book, the character named after Paul says that his father (Who was very into the counterculture of the 60s) went to India "like a Beatle"

and then later the two female characters (who live in New York City) are walking around Strawberry Fields in Central Park and then mention the "Imagine" design there.

I wonder if this author really likes The Beatles?

Going off of that ^ and what little I remember of the Traveling Pants series, I'd say the odds are pretty good. Now that I think back, there were a lot of Beatle references.

Oh I do that too. Baby in Black is excellent for the Waltz and RnR music is excellent for... you guessed it - Rock n Roll! I did foxtrot to some song but I fogot which one.

When you accidentally log on to your mom's email (she forgot to log out) and it makes you laugh really hard when you see a Beatle reference as the subject line of a newsletter she subscribes to. The website is Hungry Girl, and the subject line was "Baby, you can drive my carbonara" ha2ha

Hahaha!  On another food related note, you know you're a Beatles fan when you look at the packet of your microwave meal and laugh when you see "savoy cabbage".

When you start reading a new book (Everyone Worth Knowing by Lauren Weisberger) and LITERALLY the very first thing you read is:

"How does it feel to be one of the beautiful people?
     -from 'Baby You're A Rich Man (1967)
            by John Lennon and Paul McCartney"
And then you're even more excited to start reading the book


By the way, what IS it with me reading books with Beatle references? ha2ha this is the third one in a WEEK.
