Topic: Rank the Songs on Your Favorite Beatles Album (Read 2124 times)

I'm always intrigued about how different songs touch Beatle fans in so many different ways. Some songs that I absolutely love are songs that others skip over. For instance, Doctor Robert is my favorite of all the Beatles songs, yet I have yet to meet someone else who ranks it near the top of their favorites. Anyhow, I thought it would be interesting if some of us ranked the songs on some of the Beatles albums just to compare which songs some of us love and which ones some of us don't value as highly.

I'll start with Revolver. In order of my personal favorite to my least favorite:

My favorite album is "Abbey Road," and the songs will be very hard to rank due to the "mini songs" and medleys...oh, dear...

Cool to get some responses! All this does is show me how truly amazing the Beatles are! Certain songs that some of us don't appreciate as much are other peoples' favorites. I mean it really shows just how vast the Beatles' catalog of songs is and how versatile! This is the kind of stuff that shows us why the Beatles are STILL a huge phenomenon today and will continue to touch millions and millions of people across the world. I'll do one more while I'm at it:

"Penny Lane" is definitely among my top Beatles songs too...maybe top five, and that's partly how it wound up being my screen name.

For some of the people who ranked "Revolver"... How did you rank "Here, There, and Everywhere" so low?? That's one of the most stunningly beautiful and tender Beatles songs ever. I know it's a matter of personal taste but I think the song is so underrated.
