Astrid just says 'Spring 1964' in her book.

Mmmm... This places datation of those pics between last week of March and three weeks of June.

Nevertheless I don't think they were taken in June, as they were on tour outside the UK...

Thanks anyway!! ;)

Here http://www.upv.es/~ecabrera/letme/calmeria.html is said that the b/w photo of John playing the guitar was taken by a certain Douglas Kirkland...

That is very well possible. Douglas Kirkland was the photographer during How I Won The War. On the other hand those are pretty bad pictures for a professional like Kirkland.

- A photo taken at Tahiti during John and George holidays there in 1964 -with Cynthia and Pattie- where John is seen playing a kind of Spanish guitar, although in my opinnion is a Hawaiian guitar. It's enclosed at Anthology book

I think it is. Having a look at Recording The Beatles book there are pics which seem to match with that venue...

It's from the DVD 'Lennon Legend', filmed December 1968. From John and Yoko's "Film # 6", it says in the DVD.
I'm not sure where it is.

I should have been more specific. That film^ was in Dec 68. Not the whole DVD. Sorry.

I'm trying my utmost to be clear and polite, on the DVD it says 'Everybody Had a Hard Year: An excerpt from John &Yoko's Film #6' that features a never before released performance by John and Yoko from December 1968' by 'perfromance' they mean the clip in the link you provided.

Excellent!! It seems a very nice -and clever- work...

Do you know which kind of timber he used for each part??

BTW: at which pitch does he tune the 7th. string??

Best!! ;)
