Favourite live albums

(1/5) > >>

I'm not a great big fan of live albums, as most don't do a very good job of conveying the atmosphere at the time. And some are scandalously well overdubbed in the studio. But there are a few that I love:

It's Too Late To Stop Now - Van Morrison (IMO, second greatest album ever made)
Live At Leeds - The Who (I think the original shorter version works better)
Slade Alive - Slade (Such an overlooked album. Blistering live set, and possibly the first recorded belch!)

^^^^^You beat me to it.............."Live At Leeds" by The Who is awesome!!!!

I do like live albums for the most part. Here are some I dig.

'Get Your Ya Ya's Out' - Rolling Stones
'Made In Japan' - Deep Purple
'Five Live Yardbirds' - Yardbirds
'Tripping The Live Fantastic' - Paul
'Live In London' - Beach Boys
'Live At The Hollywood Bowl' - Beatles
'Live Rust' - Neil Young
'Two For The Show' - Kansas
'Exit,,,Stage Left' - Rush

The Beach Boys - Live in London
The Beach Boys - In Concert
The Beach Boys - Live at Knebworth
Brian Wilson - Live at the Roxy Theatre
NOFX - I Heard They Suck Live!
NOFX - They've Actually Gotten Worse Live!
No Use For A Name - Live In A Dive
Cat Stevens - Majikat Earth Tour

I really like Our Lady Peace's live album :)
